The Seafish project was an interesting and intriguing project as prior to this project my knowledge of sustainable fishing was extremely limited.
This meant that a lot of research had to be done just so I could establish an understanding of not only what sustainability meant but also what it represents.
If I am completely honest prior to research I wasn't too exciting of the thought of doing a project based on sustainable fishing and after a lot of research into what Seafish do, my opinion hadn't really shifted.
Despite this I could see clear flaws in Seafish's identity and this was the task I had to tackle in creating a new identity.

Working through the specialism of Identity has been a great experience and very insightful. I have been able to expand my weakness of hand made elements with the first workshop, which I found very interesting looking at how the relationship of letters can make an impact on the viewer and how the smallest alterations can make a huge difference in meaning. This reflection will defiantly make me consider layout and positioning a lot more in my future work.
